Thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. The book reveals the dire state of India’s security establishments, many of which have become mere puppets of the political executive. I liked the way the author has narrated the entire sequence of events. The extensive research on important events of India’s recent past helps one understand the loopholes and flaws prevailing in our system of governance.
The book is very well written, barring some sections of the LTTE saga, which seem to be a bit stretched. It was hard to stop reading. The book gives great insight into the functioning of Indian machinery. Must read, if you have a curious bent of mind and want to know the true picture and not the one the paid media potrays.
Hats off to the author for the thorough research and for documenting and bringing to the public domain the events of this book. I have read this and also the Silent Coup and I think the nation should be indebted to men like Josy Joseph.

A must read for all Indians and anyone interested in the machinations of this nation
